Tintagel, spring 2015 - Part 2
"It's a dangerous business, Frodo, going out your door. You step onto the road, and if you don't keep your feet, there's no knowing where you might be swept off to."
So down, down the stairs we go. And onto the north cornish coastal path. Guaranteed to be lacking in the giant hairy spider departement and there are no orcs.
If you follow this path, there will be cliffs, rocks, gorse bushes, heather, birds and stunning views of the sea instead.
See, no orcs.
Just more sea views and a seagull.
And some gorse. It's a pity the scent recording camera is still not commercially available. These bushes smell really lovely.
As promised, cliffs, some more gorse and the sea.
Breaking waves.
Did I mention the cliffs?
And the sea?
A flowering stone wall.
And a more barren one, or two.
A last view of Tintagel island. Most defintely not the childhood home of King Arthur, unless you own a gift shop...
Follow the brook back to the car park and on to new adventures instead.
